Launch "TailCam"

Hi, and welcome to our very first newsletter for 2013.

We hope you had a great Christmas, and maybe found a little time to relax with family and friends to recharge your batteries for what we all hope will be a very prosperous 2013.

Here at Extreme VisioNZ Ltd, we've been hard at work developing our latest product – "TailCam".

"TailCam" was developed with our usual high focus on safety in mind.
Working within the aviation industry for many years, we appreciate the risks involved when aircraft are on the ground and running. Whether the pilot is waiting for the maintenance crew to hook up a Bambi Bucket, or fill the spray tanks, or possibly the crew need to access the rear baggage bays, or check the strobes are working . . . . .  whatever the reason, there is a safety risk when people are around the aircraft while it's running, especially when they are working out of view of the pilot.

We have a solution which will GREATLY enhance your already company safety guidelines, and help you stand out amongst other operators.

Introducing:

"TailCam", as it's name implies, is a non-recording, tail mounted camera system which sits high above the rear of the aircraft, providing the pilot (via a LCD monitor screen mounted in the cockpit) with an unrestricted forward view from this unique vantage point. Many helicopters are fitted with mirrors on forward airframe locations, which may be expensive to purchase and fit. These provide the pilot with additional, but limited rear vision . . . . . but none provide the outstanding and comprehensive views possible from the tail or vertical stabilizer locations.

Superior View using TailCam

Shown below are actual views from the unique "TailCam" when installed. We think you'll agree that from a safety perspective, it's hard to deny the obvious advantages "TailCam" provides.

Custom Machined LCD Screen

Our daylight readable LCD monitor, is tailor made to fit into an existing spare blank instrument aperture, or alternately can be mounted via a custom bracket in a location to suit your requirements. An interface box is mounted discretely out of sight, while a localized on/off switch provides the pilot the ability to switch off the system during Night Vision operations (etc.) This ensures the pilot has complete control over the system at all times.

With safety standards paramount in ensuring that your company meets the latest standards, we believe "TailCam" is a must have for any operator.

Will you be amongst the more safety conscious in the industry, and fit "TailCam" to your aircraft?
