Roy Dietsch, Co-Owner
Roy Dietsch has spent nearly a decade in the airborne video industry developing innovative solutions.
Roy received his M.B.A. from Concordia University and has a B.A. in Economics with a focus in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Roy studied mechanical design and product development at the Milwaukee School of Engineering MSOE and Computer Sciences and Information Systems at the University of California-Berkeley. Roy oversees product development and serves as Rugged Video’s CEO.
Jimmy Crawford, Co-Owner
Jimmy got his start in onboard video providing solutions for Motorsports. He used onboard video on his way to winning two SCCA National Championships.
Jimmy shifted his interest to aviation in the mid-2000′s and has worked in the industry since. Jimmy has a degree in Business from the University of Phoenix and also studied at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and University of Pennsylvania Wharton School. Jimmy is trained in electronic assembly, advanced PCB rework, as well as CAM and CNC machining. Jimmy oversees manufacturing, assembly, and quality assurance and serves as Rugged Video’s COO.
Steve Webster, Founder
Steve Webster has been providing expertise to the international avionics industry for over 35 years as an experienced and highly-regarded aircraft engineer.
Working with large and small aviation companies throughout Europe, Australasia, the Pacific Islands and South East Asia, Steve’s practical knowledge spans a diverse range of helicopters and aeroplanes in scenic tourism, charter and scheduled airline operations.
Steve holds current aircraft engineering avionics licenses for New Zealand, UK and Europe.
Steve is no longer active in day-to-day operations since Rugged Video’s aqusition of the Extreme VisioNZ brand.
Steve Green, Founder
Steve Green is an experienced avionics technician, technology specialist, video editor and cameraman.
A professional aircraft electrical system installer for almost a decade, Steve has also completed major broadcasting and communications wiring installation projects across Europe, the Middle East and New Zealand. He has worked with organisations such as the BBC, Channel 4, CNN, Telecom UK, Telecom France, and New Zealand’s TV3, TV4 and satellite stations.
Previously a partner in a UK company producing music and corporate training videos, Steve offers expertise in both film recording and computer-based video editing. His past experience in industrial computing also provides clients with specialist skills in system configuration, integration, training and technology support.
Steve is no longer active in operations since Rugged Video’s acquisition of the Extreme VisioNZ brand.
